
This week’s solar links range from a corporate yard on the California coast to the golden Sahara desert. We have more breakthrough energy policy and a local government doing its part to roof America with solar panels. Once again these links stand above all else as a testament to the potential grandeur of solar energy, and fortunately all it takes to get a good look is a quick cyber-trip to Africa and back.
So we begin in the great Sahara desert in Africa, where a proposed solar project the size of a small country could power all of Europe.
Next a quick stop in Ontario, Canada, where lawmakers are aiming to beef up their existing feed-in tariff to boost solar power in the Canadian province. (more…)
