PV Powered’s commercial inverters are being installed in a new 2.4-megawatt (MW) project in Portland, Oregon, the largest rooftop solar project in the Pacific Northwest. The project, which will be managed by a joint venture between Portland General Electric (PGE) and U.S. Bank, will cover approximately 900,000 square feet on the rooftops of seven ProLogis distribution warehouses in the Portland area with thin-film solar panels. The solar modules were provided by Advanced Green Technologies.
