Solar Roadways is a company with a big vision. They intend on covering America’s highways with a type of solar panel that will replace asphalt yet still be engineered to be as safe for driving as asphalt. The panels can also be used to message drivers.
They’ve finished their first prototype in February (12ft x 12ft road panel) and will continue to test, design and plan.
