Renewable energy trading and industrial company Catalyze Holdings LLC has acquired New York-based solar sales and development company Sol Alliance, it said in a press release Thursday.
The deal gives Catalyze a pipeline of deals with more than 80 megawatts of projects in development as well as a presence in the New York and New Jersey markets.
“We have been working successfully with Sol Alliance for over a year on project development and acquisition and have seen firsthand the team’s ability to deliver projects from design to installation with speed and certainty. , while maintaining the highest quality standards, ”said Steve Luker, CEO of Catalyze. said in a statement. “The Sol Alliance transaction builds on our previously announced plan to increase our national presence by acquiring leading regional distributed solar development companies that bring a wealth of in-depth knowledge of local landscapes and introduce synergies in a highly fragmented industry. “
As part of the deal, Sol Alliance partners Stephen Owen and Jared Haines, along with Vice President of Operations Matthew Effler, will join the Catalyze leadership team.
Catalyze, which is backed by energy investors EnCap Investments LP, Yorktown Partners LLC and Mercuria Energy, also acquired award-winning solar developer and installer PermaCity, and integrated battery storage provider Prisma Energy Solutions earlier this year.
