PHILADELPHIA CREAM, October 29, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Mayor Jim Kenney, Superintendent Guillaume Hite, CEO of PECO Mike Innocenzo and others joined the Philadelphia Energy Authority (PEA) to celebrate a milestone in Pennsylvania just transition to clean energy with a groundbreaking ceremony marking the opening of a new solar training lab at Frankford High School.
Bright Solar Futures (BSF), funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Solar Technology, CEEC and other industry partners, is helping young Philadelphians access solar careers. The first of its kind, a 3-year professional career and technical education (CTE) program, will launch young people into careers in clean energy.
