SGS, the world leader in testing, inspection and certification, has taken a major step in its ambition to become the digital leader in the global ICT industry with the creation of its first innovation team in Lisbon, Portugal.

Established in October 2021, the Innovation Squad is part of the SGS Digital & Innovation team. The Squad operates using cutting-edge digital technologies and methodologies for rapid prototyping and user-centric product development.

the LisbonSquad is the first of many that SGS plans to establish in various parts of the world, with the recruitment of a second team already underway. Each team, made up of product managers, designers, developers and data scientists, will partner with local and regional stakeholders to validate, create and release new digital services at scale and at high speed.
