Transforming the 1600m2 site of a service station was no small feat, but something Attic has achieved in accordance with BREEAM Excellent certification. Despite the original condition of the site, 91% of all demolished materials were diverted from landfill and either retained, reused in construction or recycled. For example, 800 tons of material was crushed and reused as velvet carpet for the new building. The environmental focus is also something Attic has continued with the installation of rooftop solar panels. This generates enough energy to make the site operationally carbon neutral. The site also has a fast charger for electric vehicles, helping customers who choose a greener approach.
