With just four days until the series creator and executive producer Mike McMahan and Paramount+ Fawn Newsome & Jack Quaid– featuring Star Trek: lower decks, we have some new key art to pass on that finds more than a few familiar faces preparing to return to the USS Cerritos. Well, maybe it’s more like a few familiars back head back to the ship, but it feels like a slippery slope to one of those “Who’s First?” moments that we’re not sure we can handle right now. So instead, enjoy the key art we have to share below (followed by a look back at what’s been shared so far)”

Now here’s a throwback to the SDCC from that summer, when Newsome & Quid crashed Star Trek: Strange New Worlds panel to officially announce that the two series would cross over during SNW Season 2:

Now here’s a preview of the official trailer, with Star Trek: lower decks set to hit Paramount+ this Thursday, August 25:

And here is a return to The loan roomwith the Star Trek: Lower Decks The preview for Season 3 kicks off around 30:20. In the following clip, Mariner reunites with Boimler to convince him to come back and help her. But to his surprise, it doesn’t take much convincing. Why? A word… raisins.

Developed by Emmy Award-winning Mike McMahan (“Rick and Morty,” “Solar Opposites”), STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS, an original animated comedy series, focuses on the supporting crew serving on one of Starfleet’s lesser ships, USS Cerritos, in 2380. Ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Rutherford, and Tendi have to deal with their duties and social lives, often while the ship is rocked by a host of anomalies of Science fiction. The second season will follow the adventures of our favorite Starfleet support team on the USS Cerritos as they face shifts in group dynamics, chasing promotions, and tons of sci-fi missions.

Star Trek: Lower Decks stars Fawn Newsome (Ensign Beckett Mariner), Jack Quaid (ensign Brad Boimler), Noel Wells (Sign D’Vana Tendi), Eugene Cordero (Ensign Samathan Rutherford), Dawn Lewis (Captain Carol Freeman), Jerry O’Connell (Commander Jack Ransom), and Gillian Vigman (Doctor T’Ana). Produced by CBS’s Eye Animation Productions, Secret Hideout & Roddenberry Entertainment, and developed/created by McMahan, the animated series is executive produced by McMahan, Alex Kurtzman (Secret Lair), Heather Kadin (Secret Lair), Roddenberry rod (Roddenberry Entertainment), Trevor Roth (Roddenberry Entertainment), Katie Krentz (219 Productions), and Aaron Bayer (Secret Lair).
